Vice President of Engineering and Manufacturing

 

Ed Gerhardt oversees the Engineering and Manufacturing organizations for SA Photonics. He received his Engineering degree from the University of Cincinnati and has many years of experience in developing both satellite and terrestrial wireless and optical communications systems. He has led development teams from concept to release to volume production under both start-ups and established companies, including COMSAT, Harris, Scientific Atlanta, P-COM, Centerpoint and Collinear Networks. Mr. Gerhardt manages particularly strong development systems at SA Photonics that meet requirements at cost and can be produced in volume.
