The ZD-72/S head mounted display has zero see-through distortion and provides high resolution, full color symbology and video imagery over a 72-degree diagonal field of view with minimal peripheral obscuration allowing users to maintain an unobstructed view of their surroundings. This first-in-class, zero distortion (ZD), see-through injection molded freeform prism eyepiece is as distortion free and as clear as looking through a glass windowpane. 

The ZD-72/S is an advanced device that enhances user experiences through augmented reality by overlaying high-resolution, full-color symbology and video imagery. Equipped with a 2048 x 2048 resolution OLED display, the HMD delivers an ultra-sharp image across an expansive 60° horizontal by 40° vertical field of view (FOV) that surpasses the 40° circular FOV of standard night vision goggles, making the ZD-72/S ideal for applications requiring both exceptional visual clarity and broad situational awareness.

The ZD-72/S was designed to be mounted to either a helmet or a soft-mount using a standard NVG mount that allows the HMD to be easily flipped up and stowed when not in use. The ZD-72/S has adjustments for fore/aft, vertical position, and interpupillary distance, ensuring that users always have a correct fit. Its large exit pupil and eye relief provide for a comfortable viewing experience while on the move and during periods of prolonged operation.
